Commercial UPVC Painting For many years the painting of UPVC and plastic was an expensive and unreliable process. New technology, developed and tested over the last 15 years has meant that manufacturers and homeowners alike can now have an affordable choice of colour and finish, exactly as metal fabricators have had for years!

The new materials are UV stable and have excellent adhesion
and weathering properties.

• The painting process involves careful preparation, cleaning and pretreatment, masking where it is required, and then finishing. Whilst the paint is touch dry within a few minutes full curing will take up to a week. It is essential that full curing be allowed to happen before packing. Once cured the paint will not flake and the plastic can be cut without damage to the finish. We have seen an instance where a door has been smashed but where there was no breakdown of adhesion even along the edges of the UPVC that was broken - a truly remarkable system!
